What is ERC ?

The Emergency Response Center (ERC) is a comprehensive alarm management platform tailor-made for high-risk or high-value factories. By addressing the challenge of scattered alarms and events across various on-site subsystems, ERC seamlessly consolidates data to provide instant monitoring and tracking across the entire factory. Accessible through web browsers on computers, tablets, and mobile phones, it allows your team to view real-time online status from anywhere.

Beyond simple monitoring, ERC integrates factory-wide alarms, diverse notification management, statistical analysis, and shift handover records into a single, user-friendly platform. It enhances alarm response speed and efficiency, helping your facility minimize workplace safety crises and operational losses to the fullest extent while ensuring no abnormal events are ever omitted.

Features

Factory-Wide Alarm Integration

Seamlessly consolidates alarm information from multiple data sources and on-site subsystems into one intuitive platform.

Versatile Message Notifications

Supports a wide range of notification channels, including phone calls, SMS, Emails, and popular apps like LINE, WeChat, MS Teams, and Slack.

Automated Statistics & Visualization

Automatically collects and categorizes alarm data, presenting it through graphical reports and trend analysis dashboards.

Shift Handover Management

Digitizes response SOPs and provides real-time logging and tracking of the alarm handling process for continuous tracking between shifts.

Centralized Security & Maintenance

Backed by the Senwaiy Management Console (SMC) for centralized host management, advanced security (such as 2FA), and system auto-recovery.

How RGS works

ERC establishes a highly efficient and standardized workflow for managing critical events, ensuring your team can react instantly to any situation. Here is how it works :

01

Data Consolidation

The system automatically captures and integrates critical alarm data from various subsystems across the factory.

02

Instant Monitoring

Alarms and abnormal events are instantly displayed on intuitive web-based dashboards for a quick overview of on-site conditions.

03

Proactive Notification

ERC instantly dispatches alerts to relevant personnel through diverse channels such as phone calls, SMS, or messaging apps.

04

Handling & Handover

Personnel process the alarms, and the system records the handling status in real-time, seamlessly integrating these records into shift handovers to ensure continuous tracking.

05

Statistical Analysis

ERC automatically generates visual trend charts and reports from the collected data, helping managers gain insights into trends.

Benefits

Centralized Alarm Access

Integrate all factory alarms, providing a single platform for accessing all information efficiently.

Enhanced Response Efficiency

Diverse real-time alarm notification channels to enhance overall response efficiency.

Streamlined Tracking & Handovers

Digitize the management and execution of alarm response SOPs, making task tracking and shift handovers much more convenient.

Proactive Incident Prevention

Visual alarm analysis to help teams gain insights into trends and prevent future incidents.

Customer story

US-Based Semiconductor Manufacturer : Successful Cross-Site Alarm Integration and Automated Notification.

The client is a US-based semiconductor manufacturer with three production sites and a headquarters located in central Taiwan. Across these facilities, four different SCADA systems of various brands and versions were used to monitor equipment status and alarms.

The primary goal was to seamlessly integrate alarm data from all three sites into a unified dashboard at the headquarters. Additionally, they aimed to implement an automated notification system to relieve engineers from the burden of monitoring SCADA screens around the clock.

...

During the establishment of a centralized alarm center, the client faced several hurdles :

  • Complex System Integration

The inconsistency in SCADA brands, versions, and data formats made centralized management highly difficult and complex to build.

  • Heavy Reliance on Manual Labor

Existing SCADA systems lacked automated notification features. Engineers had to monitor screens 24/7 and manually call responsible staff when alarms occurred, consuming valuable manpower on repetitive tasks.

To resolve these issues, the client implemented the Emergency Response Center (ERC) as their core platform for factory-wide event integration and automated notification :

  • Seamless Multi-Source Integration

ERC natively connects to various SCADA systems, effortlessly consolidating alarms from multiple brands and formats without the need for extensive customization.

  • Built-in Multi-Channel Notifications

The system automatically and instantly dispatches alerts to relevant personnel through diverse channels, including LINE, emails, SMS, and voice calls.

  • Automated Reporting & Analysis

ERC automatically aggregates alarm statistics to generate visual reports and trend analyses, completely eliminating the need for manual data processing.

  • One-Stop Information Access

Personnel can now access real-time alarm data from all three sites via a single interface, eliminating the need to travel between facilities or wait for summary reports.

  • Significant Manpower Savings

With fully automated notifications, engineers no longer need to constantly monitor screens or make manual calls, allowing them to redirect their focus toward higher-value engineering and optimization tasks.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making

The system continuously logs data and automatically generates trend analysis reports. This helps engineers quickly identify root causes, understand alarm patterns, and develop proactive prevention strategies.
